We Know‧We Treasure Creativity Competition opens for entries submission

As this year marks the historic moment of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education and the Working Group on Local Community under the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee launch the We Know‧We Treasure Creativity Competition to enhance Hong Kong people’s awareness of the Constitution, the Basic Law, “One Country, Two Systems” and national security. The Competition opens from today (20 August 2022) for entries submission. All are welcomed to join the competition. Details are as follows:

Competitions Slogan Creation Competition on National Security Tongue Twister Creation Competition on the Constitution and the Basic Law Photography Competition on “One Country, Two Systems”
Deadlines 15 October 2022 22 October 2022 1 November 2022
Competition Categories Junior Category (Hong Kong residents aged 9-14); Youth Category (Hong Kong residents aged 15 – 24) and Adult Category (Hong Kong residents aged 25 or above)
How to submit entries
  • Online submission:
    Fill in the application form and upload the entry to the competition website（www.cpcecreativitycompetition.com）; or
  • Postal or in-person submission:
    Fill in the application form distributed by the organising body or printed from the competition website and submit together with the entry by post or in person to Hong Kong Economic Times, 8/F, Kodak House II, 321 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong (please indicate “We Are Aware‧We Will Treasure Creativity Competition” on the envelope).
Awards There are 1 champion, 1 first runner-up, 1 second runner-up, and 10 outstanding awards per competition category. Winners will receive award certificates and gift vouchers as encouragement:
  • Champion: Award certificate and gift vouchers worth HK$3,000
  • First Runner-up: Award certificate and gift vouchers worth HK$2,000
  • Second Runner-up: Award certificate and gift vouchers worth HK$1,000
  • Outstanding Award: Award certificate and gift vouchers worth HK$500
